Position Summary:

As a member of the Business Excellence Team, the Continuous Improvement Leader - Innovation position is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing business processes using continuous improvement disciplines and agile methodology with a focus on leveraging innovative solutions. This includes automation and digital solutions as appropriate to the business. Responsible for leading the business activities required to effectively execute The Catalent Way, in alignment with the corporate program. The Continuous Improvement Leader _ Innovation role will partner with members of the Leadership Team to develop and lead a transformation to improve the overall performance of the site. The Continuous Improvement Lead - Innovation, will be responsible for creating effective dashboard to track site performances, projects and TCE initiatives.

This is a full-time, salaried position: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Role :

Identify and drive development, implementation, and control mechanisms of key business processes.
Develop and apply lean tools and project management methodologies to achieve financial objectives and improvement to KPIs
Act as subject matter expert in coaching the entire site in tool, methods and philosophy of continuous improvement and project management and lead site-wide projects as assigned by Site Leadership Team and aligned with site strategy.
Lead teams, as well as execute projects to address complex process problems and design elegant new processes to achieve results.
Serve as a functional business partner to identify opportunities and develop strategic, and tactical plans while providing strong leadership in areas of change management and accountability
Coordinate the measurement, tracking and reporting of savings impact for the site and conduct advanced data analysis projects as requested by management.
Identify, analyze, scope and lead breakthrough opportunities for Waste and Variation Reduction projects
Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate:

Bachelor's Degree required; preference for Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry background.
5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment; 3+ years hands-on experience facilitating Kaizen and 5-S workshops required
Black Belt certification preferred
Experience applying Variation Reduction and Lean techniques in a production environment preferred.
Knowledge of systems, specifically JDE, is a plus
Must be a hands-on, motivational lead who is comfortable being on the floor and possessing the ability to drive teams.
Outstanding ability to communicate with all levels throughout the organization.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
