Faculty or Lecturer of Social Work

The University of Wisconsin-Stout invites applications for one (1) vacancy which will be filled at the rank of either Assistant or Associate Professor or Lecturer.

The Assistant or Associate Professor of Social Work is a tenure-track, full-time, 9-month academic year faculty position. The Assistant or Associate Professor will teach 12 credit hours per semester (4 courses) and lead the social work certificate program. The position will involve engagement in ongoing studentcentered instruction and assessment of student learning; scholarly activity, and service. Summer work coordinating the social work certificate program is anticipated with the option to teach summer courses.

The Lecturer in Social Work will teach 15 credit hours per semester (5 courses) and lead the social work certificate program. The position will involve engagement in ongoing student-centered instruction and assessment of student learning as well as collaboration across disciplines to foster an inclusive learning environment. Summer work coordinating the social work certificate program is anticipated with the option to teach summer courses. This is a one-year position with the intent to renew for future years at 100%.
