**RETENTION BONUS FOR FULL-TIME HIRES**

Lakewood Health System currently has an opening for a full time or part time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Reflections, the acute geriatric behavioral health inpatient unit.

We are currently seeking qualified, compassionate Behavioral Health Care Staff (BHS) to provide individualized person-centered care, which includes but is not limited to: assisting with feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting, transferring patients, and conducting groups; all while maintaining their rights and dignity. This position also emphasizes utilizing behavioral approaches to encourage the patient to function at their highest level of ability.

This is a full time position working 64 - 80 hours per pay period and primarily PM shifts starting at 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Includes every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

Behavioral Health Care Staff Skills and Qualifications:

Certification showing successful completion of the State of MN approved Nursing Assistant Program test out.

Ability to work in a team environment

Great multi-tasking skills

Excellent bedside manner and patient centered approach

Ability to create a safe, clean, and effective environment by informing others and using good judgment.

Ability to complete group therapy with the patients, per RN delegation.

CNA licensure is not required upon hire for applicants with direct care experience, but CNA licensure must be obtained within six months of hire in order to continue employment.
