RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
The Procure to Pay Process Excellence Lead is responsible for oversight and management of the PTP process. A broad understanding of procurement processes is a key component of the role as well as outreach to key stakeholders and cross functional work with procurement, accounts payable, operations and suppliers. This leader will be responsible for clarifying roles and responsibilities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the process as well as leading the team to identify opportunities for improvement. This role will report to the Executive Procurement Director of PTP and will be a member of the Center of Excellence for Global Procurement.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures across the End-to-End Procure to Pay process
Lead team to work with cross functional SME's to ensure process governing documents are maintained, updated, and communicated
Work with cross-functional teams such as accounts payable and operations to align objectives, priorities and execution plans
Create and execute action plans and monitor and report progress
Leverage metrics and compliance reports to identify and assess opportunities for improvement
Pro-actively engage Category Leads, Regional Procurement Leaders, Accounts Payable process lead and others to identify root cause for issues impacting the procure to pay process
Lead team as they work with stakeholders to identify training and communication needs for change management through ERP and tool deployments
Create and deliver executive-level updates on project plans with support from team
Document all relevant stakeholders/functions who are critical to the End-to-end Procure to Pay process
Assigns special projects and develops team members for future project deployment preparation
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Data Science or related field.
8+ years procurement, Procure to Pay, or other applicable experience
Ability to understand a complex organization structure, with multiple businesses using different tools and systems and drive clarity and deliver insights for the user population
Previous experience managing procurement processes, including digital transformation initiatives
Previous experience with ERP deployments
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and has the ability to effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize multiple activities
Strong influence skills that leverage engagement with cross functional and business teams to implement global strategies and solutions
Professional maturity and a sense of urgency and accountability
Capable of working in a Matrix environment
Ability to consistently meet deadlines
