Black Gold Farms has an opportunity available for a Potato Warehouse Lead at its East Grand Forks, MN location. This position is critical to the day-to-day operation of the ND-MN Farm and collaborates with teammates and members of the farm team to plant, grow, harvest, store and ship potatoes that will help Black Gold Farms achieve the shared vision of becoming the premier organization in agriculture.

Summary

The Potato Warehouse Lead works with the Farm Manager to effectively store and ship a high value crop. The primary responsibility of this position is the execution of warehouse and shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead storage warehouse operations within a team setting for potato production processes, including storing and shipping potato crop through the winter and spring out of storage
• Safely operate equipment. (i.e. skid steer, tractor, forklift, bin piler)
• Assist in repairing and maintaining facilities, warehouse, and shipping equipment
• Assisting in other areas of the farm as needed.

  • Must be available and flexible to work various shifts and extended hours during our busy season
