Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Position Overview

The Analytics and Reporting Team utilize operational analytical skills. They are responsible for identifying and defining the business rules, metrics, key performance indicators required to support each of the corporate functions and business partners. They transform data for effective decision-making and provide the research necessary to support a strategic-thinking, evidence-based culture. They will oversee the design, build, test and deployment of balanced scorecards. They will ensure, collect, analyze and report of all process improvement data for purposes of understanding and optimizing business effectiveness.

The Senior A&R Assistant provides advanced level administrative support to the Analytics and Reporting function at Digi-Key. This position handles a variety of tasks related to supporting the various tactical processes and strategic initiatives being led by our Analysts, Team Leads and Managers. They mentor and coach other A&R Assistants in best practices.

This is considered an essential onsite role, which requires regular onsite attendance.  

Responsibilities

Must be able to...
  • Run KPI reports for all business areas.
  • Compile summary documents/reports related to projects and file all project documents accordingly (i.e., electronic, paper file, etc.)
  • Assist in Analytics & Reporting efforts, including carrying out analytics & reporting programs and procedures for all company employees.
  • Schedule and organize engagements for the Analytics & Reporting team, such as securing meeting rooms, sending invites, scheduling travel arrangements for participants, maintaining internal communications event calendars, tracking participation, ensuring rooms are set up and supplies are available, coordinating events/conferences/seminars, etc.
  • Prepare materials for upcoming analytics & reporting events, including making copies, managing participant lists, taking notes, etc.
  • Respond to questions regarding analytics & reporting services.
  • Perform backup functions for Quality and Audit backup as needed.

Other Typical Tasks May Also Include:
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Takes notes and helps execute activities that results from Analytics & Reporting efforts.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities from Continuous Improvement Lean Six Sigma Belts

Other duties as assigned including but not limited to possible reallocation of efforts to other organizations per business need and management request.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Minimum/Essential Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience working at Digi-Key with experience in Operational Excellence, IT, or analytical roles
  • Knowledge in the following tools: MicroStrategy, Batch Subsystem, or other DKC Internal Reporting Tool
  • Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen.
  • Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body • Must be able to perform the following behavioral competencies; attention to detail, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, initiative, manages execution, personal effectiveness/credibility, positive attitude and professionalism.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two-year degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering Technology, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Business Administration or similar area of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of the various functions of Digi-Key, how they work together as well as the industry Digi-Key operates in
  • Knowledge of Digi-Key brand and its principles
  • Knowledge of Basic Excel, Power Point and Outlook
