Position Information

This is a temporary 32 hours/week, non-benefitted position beginning May 2023. Start date is flexible with the position going thru the end of August 2023.

Description & Details:
  • This individual will set up and maintain insect traps weekly in four different crops throughout the surrounding counties, read plat books, perform data entry, and take down traps at the end of the season. A valid driver's license is required and must be 18 years or older to drive a State Fleet vehicle. Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated. Must be able to follow directions and have good communication skills. Must also be able to physically perform job duties. Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:
  • 4 days (32 hours)/week from 8am to 4:30pm.
    • There is a possibility of working 5 days (40 hours)/week if desired.
  • Work location: NDSU Langdon Research Extension Center located in Langdon, ND.

Advertised Pay:
  • Wage: Starting at $16.00/hour, dependent on experience.
