Description
Edgewood Healthcare is currently looking for a Chaplain to join our CaringEdge Hospice team! This position is responsible for providing counseling to terminally ill patients in keeping with the patient's/family's/caregiver's belief system and practice, and in accordance with the plan of care.
The Hospice Chaplain will provide direct support and coordinate services utilizing local clergy and other individuals, as appropriate. You will be assigned to each patient based on the patient's needs and acceptance of these services. You will be a member of the interdisciplinary group and will participate in the development, implementation, and revision of the plan of care.
This position is responsible for ensuring that services are delivered appropriately and documentation of services meets all requirements.
Position will be available to patients and their families for regular and emergency visits.

- Degree in theology or similar field
- Previous Chaplain, pastoral/spiritual care, or grief counseling experience
- Experience working with death and the dying, as it relates to patients and their families/caregivers
