This position is responsible for the advanced repair and the assigned preventative maintenance of miscellaneous equipment in a designated department, in order to eliminate down- time and meet yearly performance goals. Job Duties: Perform mechanical trouble shooting and repair with the limited assistance and/or supervision Design, plan, and fabricate devices and repair broken parts using various pieces of equipment, maintaining a high degree of safety awareness while using methods that are USDA approved Perform varying degrees of plumbing repairs, maintenance, for installation on all types of systems including steam, water, air and hydraulics Assist in the installation of new equipment, making modifications when necessary.
