Inside Sales - Previous Sales Background Preferred

Established Building Materials Distributor seeking mid-level sales associate to oversee all inside sales duties as well as coordinate personal and team accounts and provide assistance to outside sales rep and counter sales associate as needed.

Job Duties:


  • Customer Service
  • Assessing Customer needs and reccomending appropriate products and quantities
  • Read Blueprints to determine material needs for projects
  • Perform Measurements
  • Prepare Estimates
  • Contract negotiation and management
  • Pivot between commercial and residential construction projects
  • Communicate directly with contractors and project managers

Qualifications:


  • 2 years of previous sales experience required
  • Building Materials/Construction Industry knowledge preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced understanding of mathematics involved in estimating products and costs for various projects
  • Exceptional time-management skills
  • Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers and colleagues
