This position assists the Facility Operations staff by performing repair and preventative maintenance tasks with respect to facility-related mechanical/plumbing systems and associated equipment.

Responsible for the repair of a wide range of building mechanical equipment necessary for heating, air conditioning, and ventilating and repairs of other mechanical building systems , including electrical and plumbing

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them

Performs installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of electrical and mechanical heating systems, ventilating components, plumbing, equipment, buildings, and grounds.

Open, repair, maintain, and install all types of locks, doors, or related electronic interfaces and assemblies to ensure efficient doors function in compliance with applicable life safety regulatory requirements.

Perform and maintain day-to-day operations on general maintenance such as floor and ceiling tile, light bulbs, water faucets, flushometer valves, clean and repair drains, remove and install whiteboards, replace water filters, repair windows and replace glass, repair locks, door and window hardware, roof repairs, overhead doors, low voltage, 240v or less electric motors, floor scrubber, and other repairs as instructed.

Ability to travel between Plant locations in Wisconsin utilizing company vehicle

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in facilities maintenance, electrical, mechanical maintenance or related field; vocational school with concentration in maintenance; high school degree/general education diploma and 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

5+ years of experience working in a building maintenance, construction, mechanical repair setting, operating hand tools, small power tools, multi-meters and various test equipment.

Basic computer skills to include Internet navigation, using Email, word processing, databases and spreadsheets.

Experience using Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) such as eMaint, Maximo, Facility Dude or similar.

Must possess a valid driver's license, no more than two moving violations in the past 36 months, and no unresolved license revocation or suspension issues.

Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

College coursework or certification in Maintenance related field.

7+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or related field.

5+ years of experience in using a computerized maintenance management and building control system.

EPA Certification for Type 2 and 3 refrigeration systems.
