Description
Dear Columbus, we're currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as the Assistant Executive Director (AED) . As the AED at Edgewood, you'll work closely with the Executive Director to oversee a team of dedicated employees as well as help ensure the overall success of the community.
Some responsibilities of the AED may include recruiting and retaining quality staff, conducting staff meetings, in-service trainings, and new hire orientations, and ensuring that systems are in place for all aspects of resident care, wellness, and life enrichment programs.
In this role, you'll utilize your personal strengths and leadership skills to truly make a difference in the lives of seniors, all while supporting and mentoring a team of community staff, working together to provide our residents the exceptional care they deserve.

Minimum Requirements

- Associate's Degree in related field, required. Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
- Nursing license, required.
- Experience within an assisted living or memory care community with significant level of responsibility and accountability for goal achievement, preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Genuine interest in seniors and compassion for the aging.
- Passion and drive for helping others.
