College Nannies + Tutors of Edina is looking for engaging ACT/SAT tutors for the rest of the 2022/23 school year! If you are looking for a rewarding part-time job, look no further. This position provides you with the opportunity to mentor and tutor several students through their college entrance exams. You will be making a difference in students' lives by helping them build their confidence and knowledge base to get into the college of their dreams.

+ Tutor positions are a great way to expand your skill set and build a resume that future employers will respect, all while giving back to others.

+ Tutoring experience is not required - training is provided!

Schedule: choose your own availability within the hours of 3-9pm Monday-Thursday and 10am-6pm on Sundays

Responsibilities:

+ Tutoring students in ACT/SAT content and strategies for all sections of the test with a customized approach.

+ Using College Tutors' resources and curriculum to assist in building student's skill set.

+ Acting as a mentor and role model for each student you work with.

Qualifications:

+ Must enjoy children and have experience (teaching/mentoring in some capacity; school setting, church setting, daycare setting, formal tutoring experience, etc).

+ Minimum GPA of 3.5.

+ ACT/SAT score in the 95th percentile and be confident tutoring all sections of the test (English, Reading, Math, Science, and Writing). Training is provided.

+ Good study habits and organizational skills as evidenced by college transcripts.

Pay: starts at $26/hour.

Location: sessions are held in libraries or in family homes in the Metro area, so a reliable source of transportation is required.
