As an Account Executive on our team, you will be responsible for Business Development while maintaining client accounts and serving as the main point of contact for customers. This individual should strive to provide exceptional customer service. This hybrid role is based in St. Paul, MN.
You will
- Manage all current accounts while also consistently reaching and securing new customers
- Maintain knowledge of the market, competitors, and the best sales practices
- Attend trade shows participating in set ups and take downs of booths
- Speak at various sessions and presentations
- Develop and maintain knowledge of company products and services as well as those of competitors in order to educate and reach new customers
- Meet a margin goal of $500k book of business
- Complete 90 minutes of talk time per day
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and assist and train others
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software
- Ability to work independently
- High school diploma and minimum 2 years relevant experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- EdTech Sales experience preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to travel throughout the region and to trade shows as needed
- Base Salary + Commission + Quarterly Bonus potential
