Job Details
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the total nursing care of residents and the accuracy of the nursing care records. This includes the coordination, implementation and delivery of nursing services provided to residents within the Manor. The DON plans, organizes and directs resources in a manner that supports the physical and emotional wellbeing of the residents.
The Director of Nursing ensures nursing personnel are trained, competent, qualified, and delivers safe and appropriate care. The DON serves as a role model for ethical and responsible behavior and treatment of others. The Director of Nursing assures services provided are high quality, and in compliance with the state and federal requirements.
