Village Green is a locally owned company with office locations in Saint Paul, New Brighton, Brooklyn Park, and Savage Winter Hours: Very flexible schedule (40 hours per week). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for our Mechanic :

• Maintain and repair company equipment and vehicles. Our fleet includes: P ickup trucks, dump trucks, semi-trucks, s mall engine equipment, skid loaders, front end loaders, excavators and trailers
• Knowledgeable in brakes, suspension, cooling, light engine work, and transmission
• Drivability assessment - diagnose sounds, check engine lights, sensors
• Ability to trouble shoot hydraulic mechanisms such as plows and dump trucks
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and instructions for repair and maintenance of equipment
• Demonstrates ability to problem solve electrical issues, 12/24V systems
• Metal Fab/Welding; wire feed and stick
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections
• Follows organization define process of where and how to maintain detailed, high quality recording of work and repairs
• Demonstrates timely and effective communication- verbal, non-verbal, and written
• Communication and behavior are consistent with company values
• Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment

QUALIFICATIONS
Required

• 3 + years of mechanic experience
• Valid driver license with a clean driving record
• Own your basic tools - company to provide specialty tools
• Must be able to pass a pre- employment drug test.

Preferred

• Class A license (CDL)
