Are you a Mechanical / Hydraulics Engineer with R&D experience?

Do you have experience with crushing, screening or other fixed equipment in the mining or construction industry?

Are you a US Citizen based in Wisconsin or willing to relocate?

We are partnered with a global market leader in industrial machinery, focusing on providing technology and services for multiple industries to include mining, construction and aggregates. Due to growth within their new product development team for crushing and screening equipment, we are looking for a Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineer to be based in their office in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

This Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineer role will work in a team environment to develop innovative solutions and improvement of existing solutions to the product portfolio. They will work in close collaboration with the hydraulic lead engineer, automation lead engineer, mechanical engineering manager and engineering director. Good communication and effective interpersonal skills are required as the Hydraulic Engineer must explain extremely complex ideas in a very simple way.

Responsibilities of this Hydraulic engineer role:

  • Understand and verify specification requirements for new product development.
  • Analyse and implement solutions for existing or new products.
  • Perform advanced calculation (fluid simulation) to assess design and optimize performance.
  • Identify mechanical and hydraulic issues and produce an action plan.
  • Providing key innovative ideas that optimize production.

Essentials for this Hydraulic engineer role:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience in the field as a hydraulic engineer.
  • Understanding of mechanical and hydraulic development.
  • User of 3D CAD tools
  • Electrical system experience (desirable)
  • The ability to travel when required (may include both domestic and international) -Up to 15%
