HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM(Overview & Key Responsibilities):

The Maintenance 360TM Operations Manager is responsible for leading, managing, developing and implementing Lube-Tech's in-field reliability services offering. This includes direct supervision of a team of Field Supervisors and 30+ technicians throughout Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin. Periodically we will have opportunities outside of the 3-state area and limited travel and team support including staffing for embedded technicians will be required. The position will direct and manage all in-field reliability service operations with overall responsibility for project estimates, work performance, scheduling, capacity planning, billing, and customer satisfaction. Safety, employee development, employee relations, and quality of work are critical aspects of the position.

Hire, train, develop, hold accountable, and retain supervisors and in-field technicians.

Coordinate capacity (manpower utilization planning) thru Field Supervisors to ensure objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Develop capacity planning (people & equipment) to meet current and future needs. Develop and implement procedures as required to standardize, control, and improve operational efficiency.

Coordinate master scheduling to meet customer timelines. Evaluate lead times vs capacity.

Utilize project management efforts to achieve and execute quoted jobs on time and on budget to meet customer expectations.

Develop and control costs, plans, and budgets.

Direct the development of strategic operations plans. Work cross functionality with other key leaders (business development, sales) to develop strategic growth plans.

Participate in customer meetings (sales, conflict resolution) and form collaborative relationships with sales and customer service.

Promote and encourage a safe working environment. Effectively manage and implement corporate safety programs which includes OSHA and EPA compliance for the business unit and participation in safety reviews.

Ensure the technician team is staffed and equipped to meet operational needs. Develop leadership performance expectations through training and performance management.

Set standards to ensure technicians, drivers and equipment are presented in a standardized and professional manner across all locations and activities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or operations management

Experience and/or Training:

Ideal candidate has a cross functional manufacturing background in operations, maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing engineering.

5-10+ years of progressive responsibility supervising and managing manufacturing operations and/or maintenance teams.

Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures.

Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects at once over a multi-state geography.

Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.

Demonstrated experience as a mentor, leader, manager, planner and trainer.

Experience with a health and safety program. Experience with DOT, OSHA, EPA, HAZMAT, Safety and Compliance.

Effective communicator.

CNC Machine Operation/Repair

Lubrication Management

In-Plant Asset Management (Software-based)

Lean Manufacturing

Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver's license

Technology/Equipment: Must have knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suite.
