American Design Concepts, LLC is a well-established and sought-after residential design firm based in Madison, WI, with a satellite branch in Mosinee, WI, and our newest branch on the west-side of Milwaukee. We create custom quality construction drawings, helping builders and homeowners alike throughout the design process-and we've been busy! In just the last year, we have completed over 400 residential projects and are expecting to exceed that number as we continue to grow.

Summary of Responsibilities

The job will primarily consist of starting custom projects, making changes to our existing plans, and creating 3D renderings, with the ultimate goal of you working directly with clients. Please note: this position is 100% onsite at the Brookfield office, with no remote options .

Essential Functions

Start new custom project drawings

Make changes to existing plans

Help create 3D renderings

Keep error rate on plans next to 0%

After training period, collaborate with team

and check their work for possible errors

Work effectively on the team and help create solutions

Ability to work on several different projects daily.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

SoftPlan 2018/2020 knowledge/experience (preferred)

1 year of drafting experience and AA in Residential Design or Architectural technology (preferred)

May consider applicants who have equivalent education or hands-on work experience

General knowledge/experience working with residential drafting software (Revit, Chief Architect, etc.)

Residential Construction Engineer Skills are a bonus

$55,000+ (DOE)
