Experienced RN Surgery Circulator

Lakewood Health System is seeking a full-time experienced RN Surgery Circulator.

The RN Surgery Circulator is responsible for the implementation of high-quality care, safety and privacy of the patient while they are in surgery and in the post anesthesia care unit. This RN provides intra-operative and post-operative care for all patients in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures, licensure and scope of practice of the RN.

This RN exercises critical thinking skills and assists operating room personnel before, during and after each procedure. This RN moves efficiently between the unsterile and sterile field and ensures proper and organized management of all activities in the operating room. Completes sedation competency and administers moderate sedation in procedural setting.
Qualifications

Current MN RN licensure

ACLS Certified or obtained within 6 months of hire

Previous surgery or PACU experience preferred

Skilled in interpersonal relations

Knowledge of operative procedures

Flexibility with scheduling a must

Ability to work in a team environment
