Volt is immediately hiring for an Electrical HW Design Lead Engineer in Shakopee, MN
This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer who wants to work with an industry leader that delivers highly accurate pressure and temperature measurements to customers in a variety of industries. This is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of a design team responsible for electronics that sense and convert pressure into a digital or analog value.
As an Electrical HW Design Lead Engineer you will:

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and support Emerson's pressure and temperature industrial measurement products.
• Lead and/or assist new product development activities such as: creating new circuit designs, product qualification planning, testing and peer reviews; identify and use proven technologies, leverage existing designs, and prepare required technical documentation and data analysis
• Research and develop new ideas and technologies.
• Prepare detailed plans, schematics, and printed circuit board layouts and assemblies to create and qualify designs.
• Provide technical support of products.
  

Supervision opportunity is also an option depending on interest and experience.

This is a contract to hire position.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Four (4) to six (6) or more years of applicable experience
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Knowledgeable in microcontroller-based board level design, schematic entry, printed circuit board design and layout, and prototype verification and testing.
• Experience with simulation and analysis tools.
• Previous Supervisory Experience
  

Pay Rate: $50-$60.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
