YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Supervise several Assembly departments
Meet established production schedules and product quality, cost and safety standard objectives
Supervise employees including time and attendance, work station assignments, training/certification of employees, workforce management and coaching/counseling/employee development
Clearly understand and consistently communicate information to team regarding Company policies and procedures
Manage all aspects of maintaining a safe working environment including responding to action items from Safety Audits, Accident Investigations and ability to identify and resolve potential safety exposures in assigned departments
Monitor finished production for quality and implement procedural changes as necessary
Maintain high level of housekeeping using 5S standards with ownership and involvement of all team members
Prepare and maintain production records, downtime records, and any/all additional documentation as necessary to ensure communication between departments
Review status and availability of parts and materials and request adjustments if required
Implement ongoing improvements within the department (s) for maximum efficiency
Foster the development of employees through training, coaching, and open and honest communication
Demonstrate BRP Valued Behaviors and able to articulate our Mission and Vision
Effectively resolve conflict and develop strategies and methods to encourage a positive attitude and team work amongst employees
Resolve employee issues in a timely manner and supports needs of their team
Support and actively participate in implementation of company initiatives and projects
Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours
Other duties as assigned

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

1. A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of production/manufacturing experience, along with a minimum of 6 years of direct supervisory experience

2. Willing to also consider those with an Associates degree with a minimum of 10 years of production/manufacturing experience, along with a minimum of 6 years of direct supervisory experience

3. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office

4. LEAN manufacturing knowledge and experience is required

5. Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and mentor a team

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Empowering style of leadership utilizing the full resources and capabilities of the team

2. Highly organized with exceptional problem solving and negotiating skills

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

4. Proficient in planning, organizing and executing

5. Ability to multi-task and set priorities

6. Attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures

7. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team building skills, with the ability to influence others

OF NOTE: The work schedule will be 4 - 10 hour days (Monday - Thursday) from 5:00pm - 3:30am, plus an occasional Saturday if need be. This shift, when needed, will be filled on a voluntary basis. The frequency will be one Saturday per month.

In addition to base salary, there will be a shift premium of $6,000 over the course of one year.
