Honeywell's Building Technology group has an opening for a Lead Field Service Automation Technician role in Fargo, ND.

Do you have building automation or controls experience? We're looking for you. The key parts of this position first and foremost are service. You will perform scheduled preventative maintenance servicing, make necessary repairs and respond to emergency calls without direct supervision. This position may execute controls systems startup and commissioning, integrating the field controllers to the head end, creating user interface graphics and training the customer. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting and basic repair procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on building controls systems
• Recommended repairs, legacy controls upgrades, emergency services
• Provide Customer Support
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays
• Perform system back-ups and install appropriate updates and patches
• Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to serve the needs of the customers
• Follows all safety standards and use of PPE and attends required safety training.

Must Have

• GED
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to learn Honeywell's latest BACnet offerings and Honeywell EBI graphic user interface
• 2+ years experience in a lead role
• 3+ years experience with HVAC and building automation controls
• Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer facing skills
