Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Aerospace - Sensing Guidance and Navigation. You will be instrumental in designing, planning and coordinating work teams, as well as providing technical support. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities. You will interface and exchange with internal and external customers, vendors and suppliers throughout the lifecycle of the product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements, design, architecture, implementation, integration
  • Real-time embedded software development proficiency
  • Verification and Validation
  • Certification (DO-178B/C, MAP-C, etc.)
  • Analytical skills & software development skills
  • Feature Definition and Design Tradeoffs
  • Task Estimation (FAR-15/TINA), Planning, Earned Value Tracking
  • Software Sub-team Leadership/Work Direction

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace
  • 5+ years of full lifecycle DO-178B/C DAL-A process experience
  • 10+ years of embedded hard real-time software development experience
  • US citizenship/security clearance eligible
