The Ag/Commercial Lending Manager will be directly responsible for the performance of the lending team by providing continuous and customized coaching, training, and teaching. The person hired will also grow and monitor the ag/commercial portfolio to maintain a healthy and growing balance sheet. The person hired will report directly to the CEO and be in frequent collaboration with all other management staff to ensure efficiency.

What You'll Do:


  • Drive and oversee the production activities of ag/commercial lenders.
  • Meet or exceed production and profitability goals.
  • Ensure the loan portfolio remains healthy and profitable with minimal charge-offs or delinquencies.
  • Directly involved in strategic planning for the creation and execution of business development goals.
  • Evaluate all ag/commercial loan requests for approval.
  • Serve as a trusted contributor and executor regarding strategy, budgeting, hiring, and lender development.

What You Need:


  • 5 years of experience in ag/commercial lending
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Proven track record of success in building and maintaining a loan portfolio in a similar market
  • Motivation and desire to bring in new business
  • Formal college degree in a relevant field of finance or agriculture
  • Knowledge of regulations tied to financial institutions
