Journeyman Plumber WEEKLY PAY START ASAP

Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong skill sets in residential and commercial installations, repair and maintenance. You will work in groups of 2-3, 1 journeyman with 1-2 apprentices. We are searching for more Journeyman at this time. This is a leadership position and are looking for a candidate who is willing to work with and train an apprentice.

• Assist less experienced plumbers.
• Install new plumbing systems, drainage systems and gas lines.
• Evaluate blueprints and other plumbing drawings to locate the position of pipes, drains, vents, water heaters and other fixtures.
• Read directions and understand plumbing code.
• Measure and cut pipes, metal tubing and sheet metal.
• Make connections between pipes and fixtures.
• Evaluate site conditions to ensure pipes and drains are installed properly.
• Install pipes in walls, floors, trenches and crawl spaces.
• Respond to plumbing emergencies, determining the issue and making a repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment and machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Should be a team player and have good leadership skills.
• Experience in residential plumbing is preferred but will take a look at someone with commercial plumbing experience.
• Must have current Journeyman state and city license.
