The role of the Finance Analyst will be focused on providing financial oversight and insightful analysis while partnering with leadership to drive key strategic decisions. Responsibilities will include supporting the development of the annual budget, providing variance analysis for monthly business reviews and identifying risks and opportunities. The successful candidate must possess strong business partnership skills in order to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions (Sales, Merchandising, Retail Operations, etc.).


The Commercial Finance Team is accountable for:



  • Delivering the commercial results (P&L and Balance Sheet) within the market and acting as the 'engine room' of business performance management; owning the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within the framework set by Group Operations

  • Maintaining a 'forward looking' mindset, focusing on identifying opportunities to drive improvements in the top and bottom line

  • Setting financial and operational KPIs to drive performance in collaboration with North America's cluster leadership and global finance teams

  • Support the financial planning and analysis processes including short and long-term forecasting, monthly variance analysis, and close tasks

  • Build strong relationships with business partners, while providing financial/commercial support to drive performance and influence the delivery of the top-line results

  • Work closely with functional teams within Wholesale channel to develop financial models to monitor trends, improve forecast accuracy and identify risks/opportunities

  • Implement process improvements to drive efficiencies in areas such as month-end close, forecasting, and ongoing reporting

  • Prepare daily/weekly trend reporting and create scorecards measuring the accuracy of daily spreads, store forecast, KPIs, etc. as appropriate

  • Lead deep dives on store performance using analytics to inform and influence the sales and merchandising teams around key drivers supporting the development of store-level strategies

  • Provide ad hoc analytical support and perform special projects as needed


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required

  • 2-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis and/or accounting

  • Ability to interpret financial statements, analyze results, identify key issues, and provide recommendations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable multitasking and adapting to a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally to drive process improvements and business results

  • Ability to learn new financial information systems and to work between various IT systems efficiently and accurately

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (with focus on Excel and Power Point)
