This full-time, permanent bachelor degreed BSME Mechanical Engineer Project Manager career opportunity is at a company recognized for their excellence in their industry. The company services and rebuilds a variety of machine tools throughout North America and South America. This smaller company is very stable and has never experienced an economic layoff. These positions are very visible and prominent in the company. This position can grow into a project manager role. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

Responsible for handling projects from start through finish
Communicating with the customer, other departments, suppliers and vendors
Organizing when the product will be shipped out in the field
Ensuring installations go smoothly
Working hands on with the other employees verses just telling others what to do
Working with and dealing with customers and customer issues
Traveling 25% to 30% in the United States, Canada and Mexico

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

A four year Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree
One or more years of mechanical design or capital equipment project management experience
Ability to travel domestically as well as in Canada and Mexico
A solid work history
A US citizen or possess a green card
A residence within 45 minutes
