Summer Camp Co-ordinator/ STEM Teacher

STEM Builders Learning Center, MN is looking for STEM Camp Coordinator/Tutor. If you are a STEM teacher or have experience teaching STEM for kids grades k-12 such as coding, robotics & engineering, or are willing to get trained and learn, this is a great summer job opportunity for you. This person would be responsible for Assisting/Managing the execution of STEM camps at the Eden Prairie Location Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged. Responsibilities STEM Camp Coordinator/ STEM Teacher: Maintaining the required direct communication with the school Making sure the room assignments and required equipments as available Make sure required software is installed on school computers Make sure all the required technology is available and ready to use. Identify the efficient process to carry/rent devices/kits/DIY material. Understand the camp requirements. Physically present at the school to ensure camps are executed smoothly as per plan Present lessons in a comprehensive manner. Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning Skills Knowledge of STEM ( Math and Coding ) required STEM teaching experience is a plus Python, Mobile app development, web design, JAVA Coding knowledge is a plus Well-organized and committed Creative and energetic Strong moral values and discipline Education in computer science background or experience in teaching Qualifications Ability to work with students Ages 6-15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred prior experience working as a teacher or managing camps. Highly preferred tutoring/education experience. Experience in teaching/working in STEM a plus. Experience managing small teams is a plus. Highly preferred programming or coding experience.
