Summary:

We are seeking a Project Manager in the St. Paul, MN area to support and augment our dynamic and growing program team in the development and execution of plans, schedules, and budgets for complex, large scale construction programs. Qualified candidates must have experience in master planning, programming, design, estimating, scheduling, and developing large, complex facilities. Candidates must demonstrate excellent soft skills with clients in both written and oral communications. The ability to thrive in politically challenging public projects is a requirement.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare communication plans.
  • Prepare various Project Management Plans.
  • Prepare RFP's, contracts, amendments, and miscellaneous correspondence for Owner signature.
  • Perform contract administration activities.
  • Prepare, review, and evaluate proposal requests, changes in work, contracts, and amendments.
  • Monitor and manage the design of buildings and structures to assure the requirements of the Design Guidelines are met and the Sustainability Guidelines are followed.
  • Work closely with the building occupants and owner's program manager to assure compliance with the Space Program, design-intent, and adjacency relationships.
  • Assist in Project Close-out: Meetings, record documents and training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, planning or related field required
  • 4+ years of experience in master planning, programming, and developing and delivering large, complex facilities and large capital projects
  • Experience on State and Local government project is beneficial
  • Technical knowledge of building systems and process
  • Construction management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Additional Skills: Design Skills, Site Development, Negotiation, Client Relationships, Project Management, Drafting, CAD, Conceptual Skills, Supervision, Innovation
  • Special Software Needs (e.g. P6, Timberline, MII, etc.): Microsoft Project and Publisher a plus.
