Specialized Analytics Lead Analyst, VP -Pricing (Hybrid)

The Specialized Analytics Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who will conduct financial and statistical analyses to derive insights and strategies to support Citi Branded cards business. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Incumbents work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies
• Develop comprehensive pricing policy recommendations based on multiple factors such as in-depth customer insights (analytically derived), sound financial impact forecasting and thorough understanding of competitive landscape
• Understand regulatory implications and develop mitigation / opportunity strategies.
• Ensure robust quantity control in the analytical processes
• Drive innovative thinking about leveraging new tools/methods to transform the analytical capability of the organization
• Communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leader

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience
• 5+ years of analytical work experience in financial services strongly preferred market research experience a plus
• Working experience in a quantitative field, Financial/Credit Card industry
• Must have Demonstrated ability in data retrieving and manipulation as well as proficient analytical skills
• Working experience in a quantitative field, Financial/Credit Card industry preferred
• Candidates must be strong in SAS, SQL and Excel (pivot tables)
• Excellent analytical thinking, practical problem solving abilities, and partnership skills
• Willing to learn and can-do attitude

Education:

• Bachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferred in fields including but not limited to: Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, and Mathematics
