Essential Responsibilities: + Safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment + Provide light maintenance and routine service to equipment + Operates equipment, hand tools and lifts heavy items (up to 50 pounds) + Reads underground utility locates and ensures safe digging practices are always being adhered to + Maintains a healthy and safe work environment for the crew, the public, the customer, and Ledcor + Works as a part of an overhead telecom line crew and assists with restoring job sites back to their original state Qualifications: + An active CDL A with no restrictions is required + Experience operating a skid steer, mini excavator, and / or back hoe is preferred + 2+ years of experience in Heavy Equipment operation + Must successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screenings + Experience with safely operating a variety of large and small power equipment, light vehicles and properly tow/back-up trailers Work Conditions: + Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.) Additional Information: Company Description Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
