About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Compensation Execution Manager to join our Total Rewards division of Human Resources as part of the Wealth Management Compensation Administration division. This supervisory role will lead a specialized team that supports the execution of compensation administration activities of our U.S. based Brokerage team, including complex compensation calculations, reporting functions and technology application oversight.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage and develop a complex team that handles multifaceted tasks and operations pertaining to Compensation Activities for the Wealth Management line of business.
  • Play a key contributor role in the biweekly payroll close and submission cycle.
  • Complete validation checks after payroll has posted to ensure accuracy and investigate variances in outcomes.
  • Engage senior business stakeholders in integrating or implementing business execution initiatives
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, redesign, change management initiatives, and risk control development
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding operations of the team to meet business objectives and service level agreements (SLA)
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures aligned with Wells Fargo's business line objectives
  • Collaborate and consult with immediate colleagues and cross functional business partners, including HRBPs, Payroll, Compensation Partners, Talent Acquisition, Line of Business Leaders, and others on various projects and initiatives
  • Interact directly with executive management to influence, optimize, and negotiate on business operations related to Strategy and Execution of enterprise and line of business objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for successful business execution
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent, as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Business Operations, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and applied experience in compensation support functions, such as administration or analysis.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office; specifically Excel and Access for data manipulation and visualization
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets with incredible accuracy
  • Awareness of various state and federal laws and regulatory guidelines pertaining to compensation, pay and variable incentive.
  • Proven ability to delegate and distribute work, oversee capacity, and work to adhere to service level agreements and strict deadlines.
  • Workforce management experience, including but not limited to: performance management, coaching, career development, mentoring, succession planning, and daily direction of activities.
  • Experience managing in a large, matrixed, financial organization
  • Familiarity with U.S. brokerage or Wealth and Investment Management clients
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to work on-site. Position will require onsite presence in a hybrid capacity (3 or more days in the office and up to 2 days remotely per week)
