About The Project


Red River Valley Alliance (RRVA) is a partnership of 3 international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group). RRVA is the developer of the Fargo-Moorhead Area diversion Channel Project contracted by the Metro Flood diversion Authority for the development, design construction, operation and maintenance of the channel and associated structures including bridges, railway crossings and aqueducts, plus operation and maintenance for 30 years.


Responsibilities


The Quality Control Manager will provide leadership, coordination, guidance, technical expertise in all areas of quality. The Developer's Project Quality Manager is responsible for:


  • Implementing and overseeing the Developer's quality management processes.
  • Ensuring the QMP is comprehensively prepared and implemented within the required schedule constraints, revising or updating the QMP when deficiencies are identified or Project needs dictate.
  • Requiring and scheduling audits of the implementation of the QMP throughout the Work.
  • Reporting QA/QC activities and results to the Authority
  • Managing the Work quality managers.


Qualifications


  • Must be a licensed professional engineer in North Dakota with a minimum of 10 years quality management experience in complex multi-disciplinary design and construction projects.
  • Must be Certified in ISO 9001
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with IT/computers and handheld devices
  • Possess a Valid driver's license and able to pass a background check.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to develop and predict probable outcomes for various construction and outside physical infrastructure maintenance related situations.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Be a team player and comfortable in office or administrative environments and roles.


Experienced Required


  • Minimum of 10 years quality management experience in complex multi-disciplinary design and construction projects.
  • Experience includes at least one completed assignment as quality manager for a construction project over $100M in value and the preparation and implementation of quality management plans similar in scope to the diversion project.
