Architect

ICON Architectural Group is hiring a Project Architect. The Project Architect will work to advance project design concepts and project documentation. This position requires initiative and the ability to prioritize job duties while working as part of a collaborative design team.

Accountabilities:

• Serve as main point of contact for client and manage client expectations throughout the project
• Maintain client’s schedule and budget parameters
• Secure design phase reviews and written approvals
• Participate in proposal writing
• Propose consultants, fees and execute consultant contract(s)
• Meet project profit goals through internal schedule and budget management
• Review invoices and approve consultants and other expenses
• Have a clear understanding of the contracted scope of work and align the Project Checklist accordingly
• Execute the project work plan
• Assume direct responsibility for quality control of the project; review and approve the technical content and method of presentation of all project deliverables
• Coordinate technical efforts of the team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required. Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years design experience preferred
• Ability to work in team environment
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to manage the design of small to large projects to fruition
• Proficient knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents
