The Process and IT (PIT) Regional Director will lead a team in facilitating operational efficiency, improving organizational communication and customer service as well as supporting the implementation of new processes and solutions.

The PIT Regional Director must have a strong understanding of the technologies and solutions that support the teams and processes in their sites. This individual will collaborate with the PIT management team and decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions that support the P&IT End State Architecture.  The PIT Regional Director is also responsible for partnering and building relationships within the organization with the primary objective of providing enhanced organizational capabilities.

The successful candidate must be able to lead and manage teams to document, design and implement major business processes as well as evangelize new processes, procedures and technologies and assist with change management. Strong leadership skills both within and outside the PIT organization will be a critical driver of success as will the ability to develop and mentor leadership skills. 

This position is open to a location of West Fargo or Bismarck, ND; Minneapolis, MN or Statesville, NC.

Role & Responsibility

  • Direct and set region specific PIT strategy, planning, and support Global Functional teams to develop & execute Sub-Portfolio Roadmap.
  • Secure the delivery of global and regional processes and solutions.
  • Support process/solution development, improvements, and implementation on a site in the region including any adaptations or variants together with global functional team.
  • Lead day to day solution management in region of responsibility.
  • Build and maintain relations with executive leadership in regional business units and functions.
  • Bring business knowledge and needs/requirements from the sites to the Global Functional teams in process development and improvement activities to support Global Business Transformation goals.
  • Support implementation of standard processes and solutions.
  • Secure that regional P&IT organization has the right capabilities and competence and is adequately staffed to support the business processes with requested services. 
  • Be accountable for regional PIT performance (budget, KPI, etc.).
  • Increase and secure IT/OT security capabilities.
  • Support legal and compliance through PIT capabilities and programs.
     


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field/discipline and relevant experience implementing business process change
  • 10 to 15 years of related experience.
  • Superior understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT.
  • Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience successfully developing, mentoring and leading a diverse team across multiple locations.
  • Strong financial exposure and understanding of budgeting, accounting and procurement procedures.
  • Strong creative, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong vision towards the future of IT Operations.
  • Business process and project management experience.
  • Process discovery and documentation experience.
  • Ability to analyze and design business processes. 
  • Process improvement vision.
  • Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality, and compliance with established project standards.

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
