Nationwide Fixture Installations (NFI) is searching for a dedicated and experienced Payroll and HR Manger due to retirement of the current Payroll manager. This position is best suited for candidates who possess a "can-do-will do" attitude and enjoys working as a member of a team. Qualified candidates to have excellent multi-tasking skills, superior organizational and time management skills, ability to pay close attention to detail while working on multiple projects with varying deadlines. Polished verbal and written communication skills are a must.

Salary: Based on experience

Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Payroll and HR manager. Processing biweekly payroll, tracking garnishments, managing 401K, tracking PTO and other related tasks. Experience with ADP is preferred. Processing Union wages and benefits experience is helpful.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Payroll Duties and Responsibilities

Handle daily payroll department operations, including collecting and verifying timekeeping information and processing payroll.
Maintain accurate payroll records including required payroll garnishments and child support.
Develop financial and operational reports when requested by compiling summary data of earnings, state and federal taxes, deductions, PTO, disability, etc.
Reconcile financial data and validate reports post confirmation.
Follow appropriate state and federal taxation of employer paid benefits.
401K enrollment, submissions, manage year end audits.
Process year-end reports, including W-2, W-2c, etc.
Process manual checks when required.
Maintain employee confidentiality and protect payroll operations by keeping all private information confidential.

HR Duties and Responsibilities

Onboarding: managing employee files
Benefits: tracking eligibility and enrollment
Work Comp: filing and keeping records.
Unemployment: processing and tracking claims

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years payroll experience
Commitment to payroll best practices and regulations
Strong MS Office skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize in deadline-driven environment
