Job Descriptionn
An Electrical Technician is responsible for completing the following duties:
- Wiring electrical panels consisting of relays, terminal blocks,fuses and solenoids.
- Installing completed electrical panels and assemblies on vehicle chassis and routing and terminating wires.
- Ensure equipment meets electrical assembly quality standards and that completed equipment functions properly
- Test-run completed equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and all related paperwork
- Fabricate and install rigid conduit lines
- Operate equipment safely - Ironworker, Band Saw, Drill Presses, Jancey drills, Overhead Cranes, and other equipment as required
- Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures, including acquisition and maintenance of training certificate
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Ability to read and understand proper use of electrical measuring instruments
- Attention to detail and quality standards
- Adherence to shop best practices and standards
- Ability to retain information and repeat processes
- Basic Knowledge of vehicle system electronics
- Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot relay logic
- Ability to read a tape measure
