We're looking for a qualified AR and Order Management Specialist to own driving excellent customer success in our accounts receivable department by ensuring proper processes are followed and customer requests are managed. This role is critical for TCP's AR function to ensure scalable processes are executed and that we are continually executing the day-to-day work with excellence. You would play an enormously important supportive role to the VP Corporation Controller and Order Operations Manager to help manage day-to-day operations while continually improving these day-to-day processes via supporting system improvement implementations and our continual evaluation and refinement of our processes to ensure they are scalable as we continue to bring in acquired companies to our portfolio.
As the AR and Order Management Specialist, you will:
Ensure data accuracy around customer billing/shipping/email data.
Address Internal and External Customer Requests via the Case Queue
Collaborate with your manager, co-workers, and staff to ensure end-to-end the AR process is meeting the needs of the corporation.
Work collaboratively with all members across the organization.
Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as needed.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in various ad-hoc projects such as system upgrades and integration of business acquisitions.
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; preferred but not required.
Prior experience in accounts receivable, billing, or customer service
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with subscription-based billing models is desirable but not required.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve billing and payment-related issues.
