Combustion Turbine Technician

An associate’s degree in electrical or electronics technology, or combustion turbine technology, or equivalent experience is required. Must be able to troubleshoot, read prints, and know how to use electronic and electrical test equipment. Must have a thorough understanding of electronics, PLC's, instrumentation and electricity; knowledge of combustion turbines and hydro operations; understand basic theories involved in the operation of a combustion turbine and understand mechanical equipment of a plant; be fluent in the use of computers; startup and shutdown a combustion turbine, hydro turbine and its associated equipment; act promptly without supervision in case of emergencies; perform all required maintenance duties and be able to work in temperature conditions above 100 degrees and below 0 degrees. Must have a valid driver’s license.
