Join an innovative iron ore project located in the heart of Minnesota's Iron Range!

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Lead to contribute to a ground-breaking venture in Minnesota. This is a mega project that is in an advanced stage of development where, around US$1.7 billion has already been invested and an additional investment of approximately US$1 billion is being made to complete this project in the next 21 months. Situated in the largest iron ore district in the USA, this project has a forecasted production capacity of 7Mtpa for both Blast Furnace (BF) and Direct Reduced (DR).

Role expectations:

  • Responsible for the overall execution of the Electrical related activities (Preferably Pellet/beneficiation Plant) from concept to commissioning within the defined cost & timelines.
  • Responsible for developing electrical schematics diagrams, panel and enclosure layouts, create structured bills of material for assigned projects
  • Ability to guide and support Testing & Commissioning of Electrical systems
  • Conduct reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work
  • Perform work within project deadlines - Implementation of Process Automation with support of Field Instrumentation
  • Ensure international quality, safety, environment standards during project execution
  • Efficiently & effectively manage client, vendors and sub-contractors at the project site

You will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • The candidate must possess at least 15 to 18 years, with at least 3 years as Lead of Electrical in Iron & Steel Making Projects.
  • Should have effectively managed large sized critical Mining & Steel Projects
  • Should have EPC experience in Construction supervision of Electrical components critical in Iron & Steel Making Projects at remote sites internationally.
  • Should have certified trainings/expertise in the field of Power Systems, DCS, SCADA and handling of Radiology equipment
