Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Saint Paul and Minneapolis is looking to add an Accounting Professional to join the Accounting and Administration Team. This individual will support the implementation of the Annual Financial Plan through the operation vision of the organization.

Basic Functions: Account reconciliation and analysis to ensure proper recording of business transactions Assist with cash reporting and management Month end recording of accruals and other closing transactions Assist with HR recordkeeping, transactions, and compliance Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, required 2-5 years of experience in accounting Accounting (Quickbooks/SageIntacct), Reporting (PowerBI/Qvinci) knowledge preferable Excellence with Office 365 programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and more Experience with CRM Software (NextGear Solutions/Salesforce) preferred, but not required Experience in general construction or building restoration preferred but not required Excellent professional verbal and written communication required Must be a service-oriented individual to the organization with the customers in mind Skills and Knowledge: Ability to implement/apply best in practice processes and procedures to support the Finance & Accounting function while creating sustainable value within the organization through aggressive stages of growth Must possess strong analytical skills, including financial and operational modeling Thorough understanding of the principles and application of good corporate governance, business and operational risk and control processes and procedures Strategic thinker with the ability to work across a broad range of issues and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and influence change Precision with reported financial outcomes, cash flow, risk mitigation Experience with financial reporting standards, US GAAP accounting principles and federal & state regulatory requirements Evaluated On: Performance versus Internal Controls and Monthly Close Procedures Measurement of Annual Strategic Goal Skill Development versus Annual Skill Development Goals High Detail Job Accountabilities: Provide financial planning and analysis support including budget/forecast to actual and pertinent financial & operational KPI analysis Participate in preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements and supporting schedules, reconciliations, and write-ups for internal and external reporting, including operational and regional segment reporting, variances/trends vs. budget/prior periods, and recommendations Comply with internal control structure for Accounting department and organization including cash receipts, cash disbursements, project/job costing, monthly close and general ledger account reconciliation processes Comply with recording of financial and non-financial transactions in accordance with US GAAP including managerial/intercompany transactions Participate in maintaining an orderly accounting system and records including the chart of accounts, revenue, expense, asset, liability, and equity transactions Ensure general ledger payroll entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions are processed accurately, timely and with appropriate approvals Maintain existing accounting system, billing, purchasing/inventory, and related systems and participate in evaluating new systems as requested/needed Assist in forecasting and managing short term cash flow and key business metrics weekly/monthly Assist with optimizing cash flow management through cash receipts, cash disbursements, planned purchases, current cash balances and investments, and liquidity related to working capital line of credit Comply with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings, including employee withholding oversight and reporting
Participates in emergency services when an "All hands-on deck" scenario arises
Participate in Paul Davis social events, Goal Setting and Review, All Team Meetings. and as many other opportunities as possible to engage with the rest of the team
Complete special assignments as requested by Supervisor
Hours: Standard Business Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Hours required will vary and may require attendance of evening social, networking, and business development events.

Reward: Compensation is evaluated on a yearly basis effective from the start date of employment of each calendar year. An annual reward planner (ARP) is completed at that time.
