The Position
This position is offered as an in office or hybrid position. Hybrid option incorporates 2-3 days in our Pleasant Prairie Office and the remaining days at your home office.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for the creation and the delivery of timely financial statements to clients. This position will also require the reviewing of financial statements and assisting fellow accountants.
What you will do
Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple small business clients
Discuss operational issues with small business owners included, but not limited to sales, gross profit, reduction of expenses and benchmarking
Build a good rapport with clients and co-workers to expand current relationships
Manage a multiple client work environment
Assist in development of others
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience of 2+ years (public accounting a plus)
Organizational skills that support meeting monthly client deadlines and the ability to handle various responsibilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups & Pivot Tables)
