Expected Duration/Hours: Variable depending on course assignments per Semester Pay Basis Academic Salary Grade FLSA Status: Exempt Job Summary The Department of Film, Video, Animation and New Genres is seeking Associate Lecturers/Lecturers to begin teaching Fall 2021 semesters and beyond. The 15-week courses could include the areas of Directing; Director of Photography (Cinematography / Videography); Screenwriting; Animation (Stop Motion, 3-D, Storyboarding, Puppetry, Character Design); Digital Video Editing; After Effects / Visual Effects; Critical Film Analysis / Film Theory; Sound Recording / Sound Design / Sound Editing; and Foundation / First-Year Program (general). General responsibilities above and beyond the instruction of courses will include, but are not limited to: working collaboratively with departmental staff and faculty to maintain a vital curriculum; foster a sense of community and students' individual development; and actively participate in departmental activities.
