2-year technical degree, preferred
Experience & Skills
Three to seven years of progressively responsible related experience. Specifically, this position requires

Daily Core Tasks:
- Review and verify the following:
- Work scope
- Level of difficulty and time estimates are reasonable
- Technical information (ie customer drawings, pictures, tolerances, surface finish requirements, alignment requirements, etc) are defined and accurate
- Engineering requirements
- Define, create, and document the following:
- Selection of machine tool(s) in conjunction with Engineering and Tech Rep
- Machine tool(s) setup and alignment
- Rigging plan
- Measurement Plan(s) (laser, scope, pie tape, etc) - how, what, tolerances, key features
- Cutting Plan(s) (perishable tooling requirements)
- Step by step Processing Plan (ie routing)
- Modification and updating of Engineering BOMs
- Inspection / Hold Point
- Approval (customer, shop, tech rep, etc)
- Ensure assigned sections of the JPCP & Job (yellow) Folder are completed
- Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to ensure proper equipment is selected to support job site activities
- Support calls from Field Technicians, as required
- Support Tech Reps with technical details for quoting, as required
- Participate in customer calls specific to technical details, as required
- Be an active participant on post job summary analysis
- Ensure proper checklists are being used and updated.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules/regulations.
- As required, act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems

Experience & Skills
Three to seven years of progressively responsible related experience. Specifically, this position requires
- Demonstrated managerial/leadership experience; minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role.
- Experience (3-5 years) with field machining, preferred
- Extensive mechanical aptitude
- Extensive knowledge or experience with tooling and fixturing
- Experience in low volume and high mix environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints & mechanical drawings
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, required
