Job Details

Utilize CAD and Solidworks
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Design of Enclosed Safety Showers
Electrical Control Design
Making Drawings, Consulting with Assemblers in Shop, Creating Electrical Drawings and Schematics, Programming Electronics, and Helping with Testing Units
Develops robust designs for new, unique, or existing products that can be manufactured economically and according to established project timelines.
Works from product specifications and regulatory requirements to design components and assemblies, specify materials, and validate product performance
Works closely with Product Management to define, plan, and execute new and existing product projects in alignment with product roadmaps and corporate strategy
Leads or executes engineering calculations, analysis, and performance tests
Applies and shares the advanced ability to document designs using 2D and 3D CAD software to communicate engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements
Coordinates project workloads for designers, engineers, and contracted services.
Establishes dimensions and tolerances and performs tolerance stack-ups to ensure proper fit and function
Custom Order Design Products to Customer Specifications

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree with Experience in both Areas
CAD NX Experience is a plus
Expertise with standard drafting practices, product structuring, 3D solid modeling, and engineering analysis techniques (DFMEA, FEA, etc.).
Design experience with sheet metal, castings, plastics, plumbing fixtures and systems, and electro-mechanical systems.
Self-motivated and passionate about learning and delivering innovative, high-quality products.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
