Mission for Accounts Payable Analyst

This day-to-day business resource will successfully support the Accounts Payable Department with processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner. This includes resolving any purchase order, expense allocation or approval discrepancies. Ensure all state sales tax or tax exemption compliance and safeguard all corporate assets. Be a key liaison between non-finance departments and suppliers. This position may be considered a hybrid with the successful candidate reporting either to our Kimberly/Appleton or Nekoosa, WI office and partially working remotely.

Outcomes

Invoice Processing - 40%
Process invoices on a daily basis with a high level of accuracy
PO invoices must be matched to PO and Receiver to be enter in the system
Ensure all Non-PO invoices have appropriate approval
Research invoice discrepancies

DocuWare Management - 30%
Review and store all invoices in Docuware software
Assign all Non-PO invoices to the proper manager for approval
Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders
Maintain proper documentation and vendor notes as support

Email Management - 20%
Manage all AP emails and ensure all requests are responded to accordingly
Handle all vendors correspondence via phone or email
Download weekly and monthly bills from appropriate website
Refer problematic emails to supervisor for review

Other administrative support - 10%
Concur expense report support
Monthly credit card reconciliations
Month end processing, review and research unvouchered reports
Support various audit requests and Ad hoc projects as necessary

Competencies: Well organized and diligent in daily processing, poised in dealing with vendors, excellent written and verbal communication skills, efficient time management skills, proficiency in computer skills, ability to multi-task, trustworthy, confidential and is committed to ongoing AP. A successful candidate has a collaborative mindset, has a sense of urgency, exercises critical thinking and is able to build relationships with vendors and other departments.
