You will contribute to the success of our organization by ensuring all finished products are built properly and meet all technical and quality standards.


A "day in the life" of a Electrical Quality Technician - Sr.:

  • Conduct the most complex quality reviews by completing point-to-point checklist and testing based upon schematics.
  • Conduct visual inspection of wire and wire size.
  • Ensure overall quality of wiring (wire whiskers, pinched insulation, wires termed in proper location, etc.)
  • Identify and escalate quality control issues to Quality Technical Leads.
  • Determine severity of industrial control panel issues and enter data into quality control application.
  • Serve as a resource to technicians in understanding quality standards.
  • Identify and recommend possible areas of improvements in quality control processes.
  • Communicate issues to Account Leads for corrections on checked-out panels.
  • Escalate any quality issues to Account Lead that may result in delayed shipping.
  • Maintain clean work area; promptly remove debris.
  • Follow and comply with all safety protocols and work regulations.

Minimum Requirements

What we need from you to be a Senior Electrical Quality Technician:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • 2 years of experience in building industrial control panels.
  • Possess advanced knowledge and understanding of NEC 2017, UL508A, and NFPA79 standards.
  • Must hold valid driver's license with ability to travel to other work locations.

Preferred Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a quality control role or similar role.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Work environment is light industrial, with exposure to a moderate level of noise. Daily operations in work environment includes the use of basic power tools, hand tools, and repetitive hand motion in manipulating electrical wires. Sitting, standing, and bending at waist for up to 3 consecutive hours at time. May need to reach above shoulder height for extended periods of time. May be exposed to fumes and airborne particles. Must be able to climb stairs. Must be able to move freely between aisles of parts, equipment, shelving units. Must be able to carry or lift at least 40 pounds.
