Join a team that develops and performs EMI/EMC qualification testing of individual products and multiple unit systems. You will be integral in developing EMI/EMC test solutions to meet the demands of complex engineering analysis required for next generation Inertial Measurement Unit products, among others, enabling speed to market. You will work across disciplines within Electronic Solutions to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate customer requirements to test requirements
  • Participate in the preparation of the EMC Control Plan
  • Participate in the preparation of the EMC Test Plan/Procedure/Report
  • Lead the EMC test efforts
  • Participate in lab training, estimates, budgets, and schedules
  • Participate in failure troubleshooting and debug efforts
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering related discipline
  • 3+ years of directly related work experience in Electromagnetic Effects standards and specifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements
WE VALUE
  • Working knowledge of aero commercial (Boeing, Airbus, other), military, or space EMI/EMC test specifications - RTCA
  • DO-160 and/or MIL-STD 461/464/704
  • Experience with EMI/EMC testing equipment, including Spectrum Analyzers, RF receivers, RF amplifiers antennas, ESD, and lightning induced transient generators
  • Self-starter, versatile, problem solver, and have a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to locations within the corporation to assist in test and troubleshooting efforts
  • Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information/concepts
  • Making autonomous decisions
  • Multi-tasking and managing a variety of complicated tasks
