The welder that will be a fit for our team is: someone that has experience with multiple types of welding and can tack and weld assemblies together per requirement.

• Able to give and receive direction, work safely, and keep a clean work area.
• Uses measuring devices such as tapes, gauges, rules, etc. with accuracy.
• Observe and read instruments, gauges, dials, etc. to determine operating conditions.
• Quality targets = cleanup, size, wire type and heat input
• Schedule adherence = meeting time requirements
• Productivity targets = using right wire size and welding techniques and keeping job on schedule

Competitive compensation based on experience - UP TO $35.00 DOQ MERIT BASED SHOP

PTO and paid holidays

Full-time, 4 days/week OT Available

Day shift: M-Th 5:00AM - 3:30PM

Night shift M-Th 3:30PM - 2:00AM + shift differential

Experience:

Welding: 2 years (Preferred)

Fitting: 2 years (Preferred)

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience

Experience with tack welding to fit parts together from a drawing

Able to read and interpret drawings/blueprints

Able to foresee the order of operations for machining, welding, and fitting parts together

Multi-tasking while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

Problem solving skills are a must

The physical demands represent those to be met in a shop environment. In a 10-hour shift, an employee can expect to lift and carry up to 100 pounds, 1-10 pounds constantly, 21-50 pounds frequently, and 50-100 pounds occasionally. Additionally, the employee may occasionally have to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl, frequently need to stoop, push, or pull, and constantly reach for and handle a variety of items.
